Ginny Mottla- Alarcon, PT, DPT, CSCS

Ginny Mottla-Alarcon earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University after completing her B.A. in Dance at Hofstra University. Before transitioning into physical therapy, Ginny danced professionally while also working as a pointe shoe fitter with Freed of London. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and earned certifications to teach both Rock Steady Boxing and Dance for PD. During her clinical rotations, she worked with dancers and performers both on and off Broadway, including gaining backstage experience treating Broadway artists during their performance season. Ginny has training in the evaluation and management of vestibular conditions, including BPPV, concussion, and dizziness-related balance disorders, and also has a special interest in treating dancers, performers, and runners. Outside of the clinic, Ginny enjoys baking, running, reading, dancing, and spending time with her husband and cat.
